SteakBar
Let’s get real.
We all have that one place that makes us completely forget about whatever diet we are currently on and we end up eating 10,000 calories before we even realize what happened.
Trust me when I say that Steakbar in Old Town is that place. I was introduced to SteakBar for a friend’s birthday and every since then I’ve told anyone that will listen about the place.
From the moment you walk in you’re greeted by friendly staff with an optional coat check.
The restaurant itself is beautiful but the way they lay the food out throughout the restaurant is overwhelmingly magnificent. I truly felt like a kid in a candy store that had three different kinds of baked mac-n-cheese. SteakBar has a butcher station, omelet station, dessert station and so many other things. They have a DJ later in the day if you’re really looking to take your brunch experience to the next level.
If you’re going with a large group you can reserve a sizable table for 2.5 hours. Be forewarned that they really don’t play with that reservation time frame. During my visit we were reminded of what time we had to leave an hour before our reservation ended. The waitress also reminded us throughout that last hour of the reservation.
The brunch buffet is roughly $36 but unfortunately mimosas aren’t included in the brunch package. It’s an additional $20 on top of your bill and the bloody mary’s are à la carte. I’m a firm believer of day drinking but c’mon… you can just grab a few of the liquor infused cupcakes.
Please make sure you’re starving if you decide to come to this brunch spot. That’ll be the only way for you to feel like you will get your money’s worth. All of the food was absolutely delicious! I was so overwhelmed when I took my first stroll around the restaurant that I didn’t even see the donut wall or most of the desserts until my second pass.
In other words, Steakbar is worth getting seconds.
